Liev Schreiber signs up for The Last Days of Mars
Liev Schreiber is to star in 'The Last Days of Mars'.
The 'Salt' actor will appear alongside Sally Hawkins and Romola Garal in the sci-fi drama, which is being directed by Ruairi Robinson.
The film - which is about a group of astronauts lost on a space station - will be shot in the UK and Jordan and filming will begin in May.
Last year, Liev - who has two sons, Alexander, four, and three-year-old Samuel with partner Naomi Watts - signed up to to star in 'Mental'.
He agreed to appear in director PJ Hogan's latest comedy film, joining Toni Collette, who will take on the main female role.
The film tells the story of Shaz (Collette) a crazy hitchhiker who is hired by a dirty politician to be a nanny to his five daughters after his numerous affairs put his wife in hospital with a nervous breakdown.
Schreiber took on the role of the politician and the film is currently in post-production.
