WitTank are a comedy trio comprised of Kieran Boyd (semi-finalist in So You Think You’re Funny 2009 and the Amused Moose Laugh-Off 2010), Mark Cooper-Jones (Chortles Best Newcomer 2012 nomine and Loaded Laftas runner-up 2011) and Naz Osmanoglu (as seen on Russell Howard’s Good News, winner of Amused Moose Laugh-Off 2009 and finalist in So You Think You’re Funny 2009).
The group formed at the end of 2005 and have gone from strength to strength, performing at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2006, as well as performing on BBC Radio Scotland, BBC3’s Laughterstock and most recently Live at The Electric, the hit BBC3 comedy sketch show hosted by Russell Kane. The group were nominated for Leicester Comedy Festival Best Show in 2011.
Described as being “like a battering ram to the funny bone”, WitTank will be bringing their lavish parade of inventive characters and sketch magnificence to The MET Studio on Friday 5th April at 8pm.
