Tinie Tempah waiting for new Kurt Cobain
Tinie Tempah thinks the current generation needs a Kurt Cobain figure.
The 'Pass Out' hitmaker called for a new artist to capture the spirit of today's teenagers and the times in the same way the the Nirvana singer, who took his own life in 1994, did.
When asked which act he'd like to see reunite if it were possible, Tinie, 27, said: "Nirvana. We need more people like Kurt Cobain, who speak for a generation."
Tinie is preparing his second album, 'Demonstration' for release later this year, and while he hasn't confirmed if it will feature any guest stars, if he could team up with anyone, he would pick 'POWER' hitmaker Kayne West.
Tine - who has previously had the opportunity to collaborate with Kelly Rowland, JLS and Rita Ora - said: "[Kanye is] an icon and an innovator. He's been a huge influence on me since I was young."
Speaking about his plans for the long-awaited follow-up to 2010's 'Disc-Overy' he added: "To be honest, I'm really excited about my new record and getting back on the road."
