STAFFORD Rangers U12s continued the tour of the West Midlands for there ninth away game of the season when they visited Rushall-based Pelsall Villa Colts in a league shield group game and drew 1-1.

In very difficult conditions, with driving rain and a swirling wind, Rangers found themselves behind in the first five minutes when they lost possession deep in Pelsall's half and got caught on the counter break.

Rangers never made any inroads in the remaining minutes of the first half, but in the second half, Christian Blanchette was upended in the penalty box and James Black levelled the scores. Rangers keeper Bradley Foster-Theniger picked up the man of the match award for his excellent handling in awful conditions.

In the Stafford CRIB league, Radford 1 continue to set the pace, some two points clear of White Eagle and St Georges B.

Radford 1 have won seven of their ten matches. Chasing down the top three are Highfields A and St Georges A.
