THE changing face of Stafford Rangers continued on Friday as manager Andy Mutch brought in another three new signings.
Twenty four hours after taking three players on loan from Skrill Conference outfit Tamworth, the Marston Road club announced they had completed a loan deal with League One side Port Vale for the signing of central defender Tom Morris.
Morris, who played against Rangers in a pre-season friendly, is joined at Stafford by 19-year-old full back Dominic Allen and former Rocester player, 24-year-old Jason Beardsley.
Boro had to obtain international clearance for Allen who has been playing in the Swedish third division and was previously with Eastwood Town. Allen has returned to this country after the completion of the Swedish league programme.
These latest additions come just hours after Rangers announced the arrival, on loan, of a trio from Staffordshire neighbours Tamworth.
They are Kaiyne Woolery, a contracted player, and the non-contract pair of Scott James and Louie Harris.
All six newcomers trained with the Marston Road club on Thursday evening and are likely to come into contention for places for Rangers tough home clash against Evo Stik leaders Skelmersdale United on Saturday (3pm).
Rangers go into the game, third from bottom in the table, and nine points off safety.
