This week we reported that two Stafford residents were fined £75 for discarding an old sofa near the Burton Manor estate.
Another incident of illegally dumping rubbish near Eccelshall cost a Stoke-on-Trent resident £150.
These actions were part of the council’s bids to eliminate fly tipping in the area because of the damage it is causing to the environment.
