PUPILS at Blessed William Howard Catholic High School showed their musical prowess at a Christmas concert.

Nearly 100 students showcased a wide range of talents including vocal and orchestral pieces, and performances from soloists and small ensembles.

Parents, staff and members of the community packed into the school hall for the concert.

"The students all performed exceptionally well this year," said headteacher Phil Smith.
