Ken Dodd to tickle fancies at Cannock Theatre

COMEDIAN Ken Dodd is one of the highlights of the new season at Cannock's Prince of Wales Theatre.

Over the next few months acts include The Tale of Two Cellos featuring Julian Lloyd Webber and his wife Jiaxin Lloyd Webber.

Also on the programme is the Buddy Holly Rock and roll Party, children's favourite The Sooty Show, X Factor winner Joe McElderry and tribute show Abbamania.

Richard Kay, theatre manager, said: "We had a fantastic panto season with a marked increase in turnout and a rave review in The Stage magazine and I'd like to thank everyone who came along.
