YOUNG dancers put their talents to good use to help a hospital treating one of their fellow ballerinas.Five-year-old Phoebe Moon, who was diagnosed with leukaemia last year, is a pupil at Stone's Rooftop Studios, which has hosted a series of ballet events to raise funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital.
The fund-raisers, which included a party with children's TV favourite Angelina Ballerina, pulled in more than £320.
Rooftop Studios principal Elaine Bird said: "We were heartbroken when we heard of Phoebe's diagnosis and she's been terribly missed in class. We wanted to show our support by raising funds to help toward the treatment of Phoebe and other sick children, and we've been bowled over by the enthusiasm of everyone. "We're now keeping everything crossed for Phoebe as she continues her treatment and hope to see her back in ballet class with her friends in the very near future."
