A WOMAN who blacked out and fell in the middle of a busy Stafford street has thanked the brave people that rushed to her aide and kept her warm while emergency services rushed to her aide.

Stafford worker Pat Boyce told the Newsletter she still doesn't know what caused her to lose consciousness briefly and fall in Chell Road last week but said she was hugely grateful to those that had rushed to help her.

"I would like to thank all those who came to my aid until the paramedics arrived," she said. "I would like to thank the man who went to tell my boss what was happening and for going back to the Shaw Trust Charity Shop where I work as a cook."

Paramedics who rushed to Chell Road after getting reports a woman had fallen in the street treated Mrs Boyce at the scene.
